Special session on "Emerging Trends in On-Chip Communications"
3 - 5 August 2012, Chennai, India

http://www.icacci-conference.org/onchip.html

On-Chip is an emerging communication paradigm for large VLSI systems implemented on a single silicon chip. This uses as a new approach to design complex System-on-a-chip (SoCs). The NoC-based systems can accommodate multiple complex (heterogeneous) SoC designs. In any on-Chip communications system, cores such as processor, memories, and customized IP blocks exchange data using a computer network protocol and physical infrastructure of on-chip networks. This special session addresses all aspects related to concepts, implementations and applications of on-chip communications as well as related EDA tools and on-Chip communication simulators. Nonetheless, its focus is on advanced issues and interdisciplinary topics like system control, design flow, application studies and the outlook on future developments in on-chip communications design.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Submissions of substantial, original and previously unpublished work are invited in all areas of On-Chip Communications. The maximum length of the paper is 10 pages (including figures and references). The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers or footers. Authors should submit their papers online. Unregistered authors should first create an account on EDAS to log on. Further guidelines for submission are posted at http://www.icacci-conference.org/callpaper.html .

All papers that conform to submission guidelines will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by email. The Conference Proceedings will be published by ACM and all the accepted papers will be archived in the ACM digital library. At least one full paying author of each accepted paper must register for the Conference before the indicated deadline.
